Black Iris is a Publishing and Creative Design Agency that generates genius branding, smart marketing ideas, effective social media management, mobile optimized websites, impressive apps, creative graphics and written content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Researched design trends and styles to create multiple concepts based on the client’s industry.
• Designed rough layouts and graphics concepts as per client’s brief; for approval.
• Designed initial wireframes and layouts through to full artworks for websites, social media, emailers and campaigns.
• Edited and resized images to make them according to brand standards as well as web friendly, using SVG files where possible.
• Created a variety of designs for online ads, banners, article featured images and newsletters in accordance with brand guidelines, using Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Created high impact visual designs and website layouts by playing with the arrangement of design elements such as text, colours, images, fonts families and sizes that allow the user to easily focus on the message.
• Suggested changes to client’s brief to further enhance the project as well as integrated any changes the client had to the final designs.
• Reviewed the finalised websites for errors on design elements such as alignment, colours, image resolutions before going live.
• Designed responsive website templates for mobile and tablets.
