8-10 JULY 2020 | WEEKEND | SUNNY | OMAN

Headed to Oman for the long Eid weekend, honestly we picked it as it is a short 2 hour drive from Dubai. And with the weather being hot we weren’t too keen to spend more than that in the car. It was the best decision we made. The drive to the border was around 1 hour and to reach the city another hour. The dice to the city was beautiful with crystal clear blue water on one side and mountains on the other.

We decide to see sunset from a beach marked on the map as secret beach. It was a bit of a walk as the road down was quite steep and we didn’t have a 4×4. The walk was a bit hard cause it went up and down and I’ve always struggled with uphill-walking. Also wearing beach slippers in the gravel path didn’t help. I went on slipping. But the view was worth it.

At the bottom there was a rocky beach with nice cool water and a lovely breeze.

On the second day we did a half day cruise to see some dolphins and do some snorkeling.

Thanks Musandam for the breathtaking views, amazing Madi and a lovely break from the city.
