As a web designer I spend a lot of time renaming files to be web friendly, Mac quick bulk rename files in built feature has helped me a lot.

I used to spent ages renaming it one by one for projects such as Eduoutings, The Toy Store, Shalini Voice. Now I just do it in a few mins.

  1. Select all files
  2. Right click -> click on rename X items
  3. The rename tool drops down from the top of the finder, choose Replace Text from the dropdown
  4. In the find find type the text you wish to replace
  5. In the replace with type the name you want to rename your files to
